Beginning Open Water Scuba Diver Course
This course will take you through your academic training, and your confined water (pool) training. PADI instructors at dive shops and resorts throughout the world certify 70% of the world’s divers. The PADI Open Water Course consists of three parts: classroom, confined water (pool) training, and four (4) open-water training dives. Upon completion of all parts, the student will be certified as a PADI open water diver. This beginning certification is recognized in the US, Caribbean and around the world. The student must pass and complete each segment before certification is given.
The PADI open water diver course builds upon the concept of performance based learning. This means student diver progress through the course by demonstrating they meet measurable learning objectives. The course’s instructional design sequences these objectives from simple to complex, so the student builds upon previous learning as he/she progress.

Scuba Refresher Course
If you are a certified diver (any agency) and it has been a while since you've been diving, the PADI Scuba Review is made for you. You start with PADI's Scuba Tune Up workbook, which you can pick up when you register for the class. This is a great review of basic scuba knowledge including dive tables (and the other skills that get a little rusty). The PADI Scuba Review starts with a classroom session reviewing the PADI Scuba Tune Up workbook and answering any questions you may have. We will also go over changes in dive techniques and equipment since your certification. We follow the class session with a pool session the next day. We will review the basic scuba skills, and water entry and exit procedures. The PADI Scuba Review is a great confidence builder for those getting ready to take a dive trip. You may use your own equipment; I will provide equipment for those who do not have there own (you provide mask, fins, snorkel, and wet suit).
The cost is 60.00, paid at registration.
