Why did you join Dakotah! Sport and Fitness?
Initially, I joined to get back into shape after having kids. A bonus was a great place for the kids to play, where I had no qualms about leaving them. Plus, they loved going swimming. DSF was close to home and an affordable option for us.
How long have you been a member?
Gosh, I think we initially joined almost 19 years ago.
What do you like best about Dakotah! Sport and Fitness?
I love the classes. I appreciate the variety, and I know that I will never work as hard on my own as when someone is telling me what to do, so it is a vital part of my staying fit plan.
What area(s) of the club do you use?
The classes I take bring me to the studios the gym, the treadmills, and the 24-hour fitness area. I have also used the circuit room.
What are your fitness or health goals and how is Dakotah! Sport and Fitness helping you attain them?
I just want to age gracefully, and I think keeping myself moving is a necessary part of that. I know it's easy to lose muscle with age, so I like that there are strength aspects to all classes.
Any tips for current or prospective members?
Don't be nervous to jump into a class. Everyone is very welcoming and willing to help you figure out what to do. DSF isn't pretentious. Just come as you are!
