  • Why did you join Dakotah! Sport and Fitness?
    I joined DSF because my close friend lived just minutes away from the gym. I stayed with his family during the weekdays and returned to South Dakota every weekend for three months.
  • How long have you been a member?
    It has been over a year, and the journey continues.
  • What do you like best about Dakotah! Sport and Fitness?
    This facility offers a wide range of exercise equipment and includes the option to hire a personal trainer to assist with my weight loss and strength training goals.
  • What area(s) of the club do you use?
    I use the exercise bikes, treadmills, weight machines, and free weights, along with sessions in the studio when my personal trainer is available.
  • What are your fitness or health goals and how is Dakotah! Sport and Fitness helping you attain them?
    My personal trainer, Jenny Boll was the catalyst behind my weight loss goals with her training, expertise, and knowledge. She ensured I was accountable for my workouts back home.
  • Any tips for current or prospective members?
    I joined in April 2024 at the age of 62. My weight was 349 pounds. In April 2025, I lost 125 pounds in one year. DSF has transformed my life, and a special thank you to my trainer, Jenny Boll.
